A therapy group for women who are tired of feeling close to people yet somehow still alone — and who want to finally understand (and change) the patterns that keep getting in the way.

You’re friendly, thoughtful, and self-aware — but second-guess where you stand in relationships or feel like you can’t really express how you feel without fear that you’ll push someone away.

Maybe you’re the dependable one in your friendships. The good listener. The person who never wants to take up too much space.

Yet beneath all that, you hold back on expressing yourself fully, wonder if you’re “too much,” or question why your connections don’t always feel as strong or real as they once did or as it looks for everyone else.

This group is for women who want more honesty, depth, and ease in their relationships — and in themselves.

Right now, you might be dealing with:

  • feeling lonely, even with a full social life

  • replaying conversations and worrying you said the “wrong” thing

  • never feeling fully seen in your relationships

  • worrying about others judging you

  • feeling “behind” in life

  • anxiety about your place in your friend group or relationships changing over time

  • emotional exhaustion from people-pleasing

  • confusion about why you keep feeling disconnected

  • craving deeper relationships but not knowing how to get there

  • believing everyone else is closer / more secure / more chosen

If this feels familiar, you’re not alone — and this group is designed for you.

What this group is:

A weekly process group for a small, curated cohort of women in their late 20s and early 30s who want to practice showing up authentically in real time with others — and become more confident, grounded, and connected in their relationships.

As opposed to a curriculum or skills-focused group, a process group offers an open, supportive space to experiment live with what you usually avoid:

  • Speaking up

  • Asking for clarity

  • Sharing how something landed

  • Letting yourself be seen a little more fully

It’s a guided relational experience where you’ll explore how you show up with others, practice new ways of relating, and build emotional awareness and connection in a real, live group dynamic, with like-minded women who are navigating similar issues around dating, relationships, life transitions, career stress, and other contemporary issues.

It’s a place to notice what happens inside you as you connect with others… and gently, thoughtfully, practice doing something different.

Expect to explore:

  • how your people-pleasing shows up in subtle ways

  • what you do when you feel anxious, insecure, or unsure

  • how comparison impacts how you relate to others

  • where you shrink, soften, smooth things over, or disconnect

  • how to ask for clarity, speak up, or express needs without spiraling

  • how to build deeper, more reciprocal relationships

  • what your emotional responses reveal about your needs

  • how your presence impacts others

  • how to feel grounded around others rather than performing

You can talk about your relationship patterns in individual therapy, but in group, you actually get to practice them in real time — and change them.

What group will be like

Each week, we meet as a small group of women navigating similar life stages and relational patterns. We’ll talk about what comes up in the moment — reactions, emotions, hesitations, comparisons, insecurities, and desires for connection.

You can expect to:

  • share more honestly than you usually do

  • hear yourself reflected in others

  • learn how your presence impacts the group

  • notice your people-pleasing tendencies as they happen

  • practice asking for what you need

  • explore what gets in the way of deeper connection

  • understand your emotional responses to closeness

  • feel supported, understood, and challenged — in a good way

You’ll never be forced to share anything before you’re ready, and will have expert therapeutic support guiding this process.

Who this group is for

This group is a great fit if you:

  • identify as female and are in your late 20s–early 30s

  • feel anxious in friendships, dating, or new relationships

  • often feel overlooked, disconnected, or left out

  • struggle with people-pleasing or “keeping the peace”

  • compare yourself to others and feel “behind” in life

  • want deeper friendships and more reciprocal connections

  • replay conversations or worry about saying the wrong thing

  • have trouble expressing needs or being vulnerable

  • are navigating major life transitions

  • want to understand your patterns with people on a deeper level

This group is not a great fit if you:

  • are currently in active crisis

  • want a structured psychoeducational program

  • prefer not to explore emotions in a group setting

Everyone will complete a brief screening call to ensure fit and comfort with the group.

What you’ll walk away with

By the end of the 8 weeks, you can expect to feel:

  • more confident expressing yourself

  • more grounded around others

  • less anxious in relationships

  • more connected to yourself

  • more able to ask for what you need

  • better at recognizing triggers before they snowball

  • more aware of your impact on others

  • more capable of building deeper friendships

  • less alone in what you’ve been navigating

You’ll understand the relational patterns that have shaped your life — and what to do differently moving forward.

Why this group matters

Most women in their late twenties and early thirties quietly carry the belief that everyone else is more confident, more connected, or more secure.

This group interrupts that isolation — and offers something individual therapy alone cannot.

  • Here, you get real-time feedback and support from a group of like-minded women at a similar life stage as you.

  • You get to try out new ways of speaking, asking, and showing up with others, that later translates to the relationships in your own life.

  • Loneliness, comparison, and self-doubt are not small problems. Learning how to confidently be in relationship with others now (in your late 20s/early 30s) will impact you profoundly throughout the rest of your life.

  • Being seen, heard, and understood by peers is transformative—and this is a unique experience where you get live guidance and support by a trained therapist and practice challenging yourself in relationship with others who aren’t actually in your life.

  • When you practice new relational skills here, everything outside the group starts to shift. Your awareness of relationship dynamics heightens.

  • You’ll hear other women (women who seem accomplished, confident, and cool!) say the things you’ve been secretly thinking and struggling with.

About the group facilitator

Hi, I’m Kim Jaso, LMHC — a therapist who works with thoughtful women navigating people-pleasing, relationship anxiety, and that quiet feeling of being “behind” or disconnected, even when life looks fine from the outside.

Before I became a therapist, I was exactly where many of my clients are now: in my late twenties, doubting myself, questioning my relationships, and unsure of my path. It was through my own group therapy experience that I healed from grief, learned how I relate to others, and realized this work was my calling. I eventually left the corporate world to become a therapist so I could help other women find that same sense of clarity and connection.

Today, I specialize in relational, emotionally attuned therapy, and I absolutely love facilitating groups. Creating spaces where women can practice honesty, intimacy, and deeper connection — and feel less alone in the process — is some of my most meaningful work.

If you’re longing for relationships that feel more mutual, grounded, and real, I’d be honored to guide you through this experience.
